Practice and performance data: We collect information about questions answered, scores, streaks, mastery levels, time spent practicing, and learning progress. This data is used to power our adaptive learning features, spaced repetition scheduling, and progress reporting.

AI tutor interactions: When a student uses the AI tutor feature, we store the conversation history. This data is accessible to the parent or guardian through the parent dashboard and is used to improve the tutoring experience.

Technical data: We automatically collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and general location (country/region) to ensure the service works properly. We do not collect precise geolocation data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the RepsLearn learning experience
• To personalize practice through adaptive difficulty and spaced repetition
• To generate progress reports visible to parents and guardians
• To send account-related emails (verification, password reset)
• To maintain and improve the security and reliability of our service

We do not use student data for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. AI Tutor Data

Our AI tutor is powered by a third-party AI service. When a student uses the AI tutor, the question context and student messages are sent to this service to generate responses. We do not send personally identifiable information (such as names or email addresses) to the AI service — only the math question and conversation content.

Parents and guardians can review all AI tutor conversations through the parent dashboard. The AI tutor is designed to guide student thinking without providing direct answers.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use trusted third-party services for hosting (Heroku), authentication (Firebase), email delivery (ZeptoMail), and AI tutoring. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services to us.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Safety: We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of any person.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with advertisers.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

RepsLearn is designed for students in grades 6 through 9 (approximately ages 11 through 15). We are committed to protecting children's privacy.

• Student accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian through the parent dashboard.
• We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the learning service.
• We do not serve advertising to students.
• Parents can review, modify, or delete their child's data at any time by contacting us.
